Realme is all set for a strong comeback in the premium segment by launching its next flagship, the Realme GT 8 Pro. The brand has now confirmed that the device will be arriving in India on November 20, powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.

Flagship-Level Power and Performance

The Realme GT 8 Pro also happens to be one of the first smartphones with Qualcomm’s latest 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, featuring an octa-core CPU with up to 4.6GHz Oryon V3 Phoenix L cores and an Adreno 840 GPU. Further, combined with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage, the device assures that multitasking and gaming will be super fast.

The phone will run Android 16 out-of-the-box with Realme UI 7.0, and the company has committed to four major Android upgrades.

Immersive Display and Premium Design

The GT 8 Pro boasts an impressive 6.79-inch LTPO AMOLED display with 1 billion colours, 144Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+ with Dolby Vision support. The display manages a whopping 7,000 nits peak brightness-one among the highest on any smartphone to date-for clear visibility even under direct sunlight.

The device features a glass front and an aluminum frame, while offering two back finishes: fiberglass and eco-leather made from silicone polymer. It’s also IP68/IP69 certified against dust, water jets, and immersion up to 2 meters for 30 minutes.

Next-Level Camera System

Photography enthusiasts will surely like the Realme GT 8 Pro’s triple rear camera settings that comprise:

50MP wide camera (f/1.8, OIS)

200MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom

50MP ultrawide lens with a 116° field of view

The cameras boast 8K recording at 30fps, Dolby Vision HDR, and 10-bit LOG video, along with the Ricoh lens and color spectrum sensor that enable realistic color reproduction.

On the front, there’s a 32MP selfie shooter that can also record 4K, with gyro-EIS and Dolby Vision support.

Massive Battery and Ultra-Fast Charging

It comes packed with a 7,000mAh silicon-carbon (Si/C) battery, supported by 120W wired fast charging. According to Realme, the phone can reach up to 50% in just 15 minutes and a full charge in about 43 minutes. In terms of wireless charging, the GT 8 Pro supports 50W, which is capable of a full charge in approximately 79 minutes.

The battery is rated for 1,100 charging cycles and offers up to 60 hours of endurance!

Connectivity and Other Features

The connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0 with aptX HD and LHDC 5, NFC (360°), and a full suite of satellite positioning systems. Stereo speakers, an infrared port, and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor round out the package.

Expected Price and Availability

There are reports that the Realme GT 8 Pro could start around ₹65,000 in India, which directly pits it against flagships such as the OnePlus 13, iQOO 13 Pro, and Xiaomi 15 Pro.

The phone will be available in four colors: Diary White, Urban Blue, Green, and Aston Martin Green.
