Apple’s new AppleCare+ plans have landed in India, offering users extra choices and stronger device safety. For the first time there, iPhone owners can now grab AppleCare+ that covers theft or loss. This upgrade brings a fresh option where missing phones might get replaced – something never seen before locally.

Kaiann Drance, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide iPhone Product Marketing, said the aim is to make trusted device protection more accessible. “AppleCare gives our customers peace of mind knowing that their products are protected and supported by Apple experts. With today’s updates in India, we’re making it easier and more affordable to get trusted protection, including access to our most complete coverage for iPhone,” she said.

The new AppleCare+ plan that includes theft and loss protection helps out if your phone gets stolen or misplaced – up to twice a year, giving iPhone owners extra peace of mind. Instead of just accidents, it now also responds when devices go missing. You still get endless fixes for accidental damage, no matter how many times you drop or break things. Battery swaps are part of the deal whenever performance dips. Support is faster compared to standard options, so help shows up quicker. Every fix uses original Apple components – not third-party copies. Repairs happen either at an Apple Store or through approved local repair spots nearby. Cost for adding theft and loss begins around ₹.799.

Apple’s rolled out cheaper monthly and yearly subs so folks can keep their gear covered as long as they want. Pick a plan and turn it on right from the Settings app – works on iPhones, iPads, or Macs – with protection kicking in the moment you buy.
